Where to go & what to do when you arrive.

Here's a short video that will explain what to expect when you arrive.

There are certain measures in place to ensure the safety of everyone. We will update this video if things change. Please watch so you have an idea of where to go & what to do.

Our swim course & how it works.

WETSUIT/SKINS SWIMMING RULES

Wetsuits are optional but highly recommended for warmth & buoyancy. non wetsuit swimming is allowed as long as you have an approved tow float. Our safety crew are on hand to offer advice and we have wetsuits for hire if you require one.

SWIM COURSE ETIQUETTE

Everyone must swim in an anti-clockwise direction keeping the marker buoys on your left hand side. Please don't congregate around the buoys or hold on to a buoy to rest. Please give other swimmers a wide berth whilst over taking.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU CAN'T CONTINUE YOUR SWIM

If you find yourself feeling too tired/unwell to continue or you may have bitten off a little bit more than you can chew, thats fine but please don't swim back the way you've come. Signal for one of our safety paddlers and ask for assistance. If required they will call for one of our powered safety craft to come and assist you back to shore. See below for more info on what to do if you are getting a lift back.

Swim safety & what to do if you need help.

In the event that you need assistance due to fatigue, cramp, feeling unwell or simply you've had enough this video shows you how to signal for assistance and what will happen.

Even if you are an experienced swimmer, please familiarise yourself with our safety protocols.
